Noms

Filter House is a nominee for a 2009 World Fantasy Award! I found out when I logged on this morning. Made me all teary-eyed; my story collection is in the same category as Peter Beagle's--Peter S. Beagle, whose novel The Last Unicorn formed a cornerstone of my identity from teenhood onwards, whose recent work can be as frightening, subtle, and gorgeous as any of his early stuff. Peter 'n' me.
